Christmas At Boyd Park
Sunday 30th November from 10am
The Te Aroha Santa Parade was re-instated by Pat Ryan and Mary Massey after many years without having one in town. It become very successful and since then the ladies have retired, the TABA now organise it and is now part of ‘Christmas At Boyd Park‘.
We run 3 categories –Entrants are judged for Best Business/trade Float, Best Educational facility Float, Best community group float, then people’s choice – votes are collected at the conclusion of the parade.
Diprose Miller Ltd are the major sponsor.
This year it is being held on Sunday 30th November at Boyd Park, Stanley Avenue, Te Aroha.
Itinerary:
9am – Te Aroha’s Christmas at Boyd Park opens
9.30am – Church service at The Silver Fern Events Centre function room featuring the Hamilton Community Gospel Choir – all welcome! Hosted by Mountain View Chuch and the Te Aroha Ministers.
10am – Kite Flyers demonstartion begins
11am – Parade starts. After the paarade finishes, Santa will be available for photograpghs in front of the Christmas tree
12pm – Parade awards presented.

Day At The Domain 2026
Day at the Domain is an annual, fun and affordable family day out in the beautiful, historic Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain, in the mighty Waikato.
With FREE entry and entertainment throughout the day, local crafters and artisans, coffee, ice cream and food trucks, there is something to delight young and old and everyone in between!

Best Window Dressing Competition
In conjunction with the Santa Parade and the ‘Share The Aroha‘ draw, we also run a ‘Best Dressed Window’ competition. We have an independent judge decide which window has the best display. There is a trophy for the winner.

Our Projects
Town Free WiFi
TABA provides a free WIFI service in the CBD to entice people to stay in town and enhance their experience.
Under Eave Lighting.
After a concerted effort with fund raising, the under-eave lighting project has now been successfully completed.
This has given new life to the shops on Whitaker Street and has made walking through town at night even more enjoyable, with people now feeling safe and secure.
